For those renting a car at one of the airports, or otherwise are going by car to the NCC, please use the questionnaire if you are able to give a ride to someone else coming in or going out by air.

  • Follow signs to North on Sully Rd./Rt. 28
  • Travel 4 miles and turn onto Harry Byrd Hwy/Rt. 7 West.
  • Travel 4 miles, and turn right onto Belmont Ridge Rd./Rt. 659.
  • Belmont Ridge Road becomes Upper Belmont Place at the intersection of Riverside Parkway (2nd traffic light after Rt. 7 intersection).
  • Follow signs to the entrance of The NCC located at the end of Upper Belmont Place.
  • Please proceed past the Welcome Center at the entrance and follow signs to the Front Desk

From Dulles Airport, using the Toll Road ($3.70 non-rush, or $4.50 during rush hours)

  • Travel West on the Dulles Toll Rd./Rt. 267, take Exit 9B to Sully Rd./Rt. 28 North.
  • Travel 4 miles and turn onto Harry Byrd Hwy/Rt. 7 West.
  • Travel 4 miles, and turn right onto Belmont Ridge Rd./Rt. 659 .
  • Belmont Ridge Road becomes Upper Belmont Place at the intersection of Riverside Parkway (2nd traffic light after Rt. 7 intersection).
  • Follow signs to the entrance of The NCCr located at the end of Upper Belmont Place.
  • Please proceed past the Welcome Center at the entrance and follow signs to the Front Desk

- Travelling west on I-66 Take Exit 66B to Leesburg Pike/Rt. 7 west.

- Travelling on the Beltway/I-495 from the South Take Exit 47B to Leesburg Pike/Rt. 7 west.

- Travelling on the Beltway/I-495 from the north Take Exit 47A to Leesburg Pike/Rt. 7 west.

Then proceed as follows:

  • Travel 18 miles or so, passing Sterling and Ashburn and turn right onto Belmont Ridge Rd./Rt. 659.
  • Belmont Ridge Road becomes Upper Belmont Place at the intersection of Riverside Parkway (2nd traffic light after Rt. 7 intersection).
  • Follow signs to the entrance of The NCC located at the end of Upper Belmont Place.
  • Please proceed past the Welcome Center at the entrance and follow signs to the Front Desk

From Washington, DC, using the Toll Road (an additional $1.75 in tolls)

  • Take Constitution Avenue (Route 50 West) to Interstate 66 West
  • Follow 66 West to Exit 67 to ‘Dulles Airport/Baltimore and I-495 N.’ and bear right onto Route 267 West, the Dulles Toll Road (stay in local lanes, not express airport traffic lanes),
  • Remain on the Dulles Toll Road for about 20 miles following signs to the Dulles Greenway West towards Leesburg.
  • Take the Dulles Greenway (you will go through a second toll) continuing for about 6 miles, exiting at Route 659 North (Exit 4), which is Belmont Ridge Road
  • Proceed on Route 659 North for about 3 1/2 miles (crossing Route 7, Harry Byrd Hwy and Riverside Parkway) to Upper Belmont Place. Belmont Ridge Road becomes Upper Belmont Place at the intersection of Riverside Parkway (2nd traffic light after Rt. 7 intersection).
  • Follow signs to the entrance of The NCC located at the end of Upper Belmont Place.
  • Please proceed past the Welcome Center at our entrance and follow signs to the Front Desk.

Northbound (From Richmond)

  • From I-95 North toward Washington, D.C. to Interstate 495 (the Capital Beltway),
  • Follow directions for: From Washington DC above, for either local or
  • Toll roads : Take Interstate 495 North heading toward Tyson’s Corner/Rockville (not toward Alexandria)

Southbound (From Baltimore)

  • Take I-95 South to Interstate 495 (the Capital Beltway) West (right hand lanes) towards Bethesda/Northern Virginia
  • Follow directions for: From Washington DC above, for either local or
  • Toll roads: From Interstate 495, take the exit for Route 267 West, Dulles Toll Road (stay in local lanes, not express airport traffic lanes).

Eastbound (From Winchester, VA)

  • Take Route 7 East to Leesburg (approximately 35 miles).
  • At Leesburg, continue on the bypass and take the exit marked ‘Tyson’s Corner Route 7 East’.
  • Continue on Route 7 East until the 5th traffic light (approximately 3 miles) and turn Left on Belmont Ridge Road.  Belmont Ridge Road becomes Upper Belmont Place at the intersection of Riverside Parkway (2nd traffic light).
  • Continue straight and follow signs to the entrance of The NCC located at the end of Upper Belmont Place.
  • Please proceed past the Welcome Center at our entrance and follow signs to the Front Desk.

Southbound (From Frederick, MD)

  • Take US-15 South. When the road splits, follow US-15 S / US-340 W exit on the right towards Leesburg/Charles Town.  Keep bearing right.
  • Merge into the left lane onto US-15 S / US-340 W (4.6 miles)
  • Merge onto US-15 South via the exit on the LEFT towards Leesburg crossing into Virginia.  (17.4 miles)
  • Bear Left at South 15 (bypass) towards ‘Route 7, Warrenton, Winchester, Alexandria’.
  • Turn Left at the 3rd traffic light onto Fort Evans Road. (There is a DMV on your right). Note: There is only a light for vehicles turning left, the straight lanes do not have a traffic signal here.
  • Continue straight on Fort Evans Road until the stoplight intersecting with Belmont Ridge Road.
  • Turn Left onto Belmont Ridge Road.
  • Continue straight and follow signs to the entrance of The NCC located at the end of Upper Belmont Place.
  • Please proceed past the Welcome Center at our entrance and follow signs to the Front Desk.
