In our nation’s capital, you hear a host of different languages, sample cuisines of wide-ranging variety, enjoy performing artists of every country, and live in communities where your neighbors represent cultures and religions from around the world. Therefore this region is the perfect setting for our Reunion theme, Global Citizens. To that we add Celebrating Our Own for, thanks to our Woodstock experience we were nurtured to be curious and open to developing an appreciation for diversity. Thus, our workshops will draw on alumni/ae whose life experiences have been dedicated to being globally responsible and to creating art and literature born of a mixture of backgrounds. We will also, for the first time, focus 2 workshops on younger alums, discovering how the vastly changed opportunities at Woodstock have influenced their life direction and perspective. Your questions will enliven discussions and bring a new awareness of what being a global citizen means.
